Today, we're launching ScreenKite 1.0 on Uneed. Screen Recording & Video Editing Made Easy & Fast. Building a better Screen Studio and Loom (2~3x exporting speed, link sharing, flexible camera layout, HDR, AI Agent video post-production editing) As a builder also a YouTuber, I really want a native and fast screen recorder because it usually takes me a lot of time recording and editing. Screen Studio and Loom are great but it slow as Electron apps. Today, ScreenKite is almost fully feature complete compared with Screen Studio and Loom, but faster, with GPU-accelerated export, and free. Furthermore, ScreenKite also have AI auto editing features to bring more powerful workflows with your favorite AI tools like Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, and Gemini CLI. We're also building CapCut / FireCut like experience in ScreenKite but it runs locally without risking your data. Soon, you will be able to edit videos using simple natural language. With ScreenKite AI agent skills, you can just say what you want and it will edit for you. Even simple video editing takes too much time, and many apps lock basic features behind paywalls. The result is people spend more time dealing with tools than doing real work. Comparison: ScreenKite is much faster to export compared with Screen Studio / Loom and simpler than many full-featured editors. Unlike most alternatives, it’s completely free with all Screen Studio / Loom essential features included. You can even use your own AI API keys (ElevenLabs, Groq, OpenAI) to do automatic transcription and simple editing. ScreenKite has flexible resource import resources like Remotion videos, for example, generating your assets from Remotion and one-click import as overlays into ScreenKite. ScreenKite has more flexibility NLE timeline and it will be more like iMovie as a full featured video editor.
