About the startup

N8N Chat UI lets you easily design and customize beautiful chat widgets for your n8n workflows and embed them into any website without writing a single line of code. If you already run logic in n8n but don’t want to design, host, and harden a custom chat UI, this product gets you from workflow to live widget quickly: sign up, use the visual builder with live preview, then drop a simple embed snippet on your site. Why it exists: Teams ship automations in n8n every day, but customer-facing chat still means frontend work, webhook exposure, and operational glue. N8N Chat UI focuses on that last mile: appearance (colors, typography, layout), embed modes (floating popup vs in-page), and the security model you actually need in production. Two embed modes: Standalone — The browser talks to your n8n webhook directly. We’re not in the message path, so you keep control and don’t consume per-message credits. A one-time lifetime license unlocks premium customization such as footer branding and custom CSS. Managed — Your webhook is stored server-side (encrypted) and traffic goes through a proxy that hides your webhook URL, forwards to n8n, and adds guardrails: allowed domains, geo restrictions, authentication options (none, JWT, Basic, header-based), and per-widget rate limits. Managed traffic is priced with credits. What you get: - Easy customization and instant setup — Brand the widget in the builder, see changes live, and go live with a simple copy-paste embed; no dev skills required. - In-page or popup widget — Use a floating bubble or embed the chat inline so it fits your layout. - File upload support — Visitors can send files in chat; you control allowed types and caps on size and number of files. - Voice chat — Users can record and send audio in the widget for a voice-friendly flow. - Real-time chat streaming — Streaming works out of the box once it’s enabled in your n8n workflow; widgets pick it up automatically. - Responsive, modern UI — Clean layout that works on desktop, tablet, and mobile. Who it’s for: Indie hackers, SaaS teams, and agencies that want customer-facing chat powered by n8n.
