About the startup
Metrya is a health data companion built for people who track everything but want meaningful insights instead of raw numbers. It connects to Apple Health and instantly brings together data from devices such as Ultrahuman, Amazfit Helio, smart scales, and Omron BP monitors. On-device, Metrya analyzes sleep, HRV, resting heart rate, activity, body composition, recovery, and anomalies. It also lets users log additional lifestyle data - sauna sessions, cold plunges, meditation, workouts, energy or stress levels, supplements, and diet. The built‑in AI advisor interprets all of this contextually. You can ask natural questions like “Why am I more tired this week?” or “Is my HRV trending down?” and get personalized insights powered directly by your own data. Metrya is fully privacy‑preserving. It follows a BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) model: users connect their own Claude, OpenAI, or Gemini API key, keeping all data and AI communication on‑device. Neither your health data nor your key ever leaves your phone. A typical query costs only fractions of a cent, and a $10 top‑up with your AI provider can last for months.
