About the startup
The core problem: Creators publish videos blindly — they have no idea if a video will get 500 views or 500K views until it's already live. By then, it's too late to fix a bad hook, weak retention, or poor thumbnail. LAKAI solves this by letting you predict and fix performance BEFORE publishing. Retention Lab (inside Shorts Audit) Problem it solves: Creators lose viewers at specific moments in their video but have no idea where or why until YouTube Analytics shows it days later. What it does: You upload your video (before publishing) AI analyzes it scene-by-scene — frame brightness, pacing, contrast, visual complexity Each segment gets a retention score with specific fixes: "This scene is too static at 0:12–0:18, add a visual cut" or "Hook drops at 0:03, add text overlay" Generates a view estimate based on hook strength, retention flow, thumbnail CTR, and title impact Gives an overall retention grade (A–F) with the top 3 fixes ranked by impact Includes script analysis: word count, retention hook count, pacing, and a retention prediction ("~87% stay past 3 seconds") In short: It's like having YouTube Analytics before you upload — so you can fix the video while it's still a draft. AI Call (Social Media Guru) Problem it solves: Creators don't have a mentor. They watch hours of YouTube advice videos that give generic tips, but nobody gives them personalized coaching based on their actual channel data. What it does: First, you connect your channel (via Viral Engine/Trust Score) so the AI has your real analytics Then you pick a coaching topic: Hooks — "First 3 seconds that stop the scroll" Retention — "Keep viewers watching all the way through" Thumbnails — "High-CTR design and psychology" Script Polish — "Tighter, punchier, more engaging content" You get on a live AI voice call with the Social Media Guru — it talks to you, responds to your questions, and gives advice based on your channel's actual performance You can even clone your own voice so the Guru speaks in your voice (for UGC content creation) Full conversation is transcribed in real-time In short: It's like having a personal YouTube growth coach available 24/7 who actually knows your channel numbers — not generic advice, but "your hook retention is 43%, here's exactly how to fix it." The Bigger Picture LAKAI = stop guessing, start knowing. Every tool is built around one idea: give creators the data and AI insights they need before publishing, not after.
