About the startup

The problem Most devs and small teams ship constantly, but their users never hear about it. Your Notion "changelog doc" is outdated. GitHub releases get buried. The update blog you planned to build never got built. And silence has a cost: users assume nothing's changing, and churn follows. What Ripple does Ripple gives your product a public changelog page, one URL to share with users, zero setup, entries in Markdown. You write "what shipped", pick a theme that fits your brand, hit publish. The page is live at tryripple.co/p/your-slug. How it works

  1. Sign in with Google.
  2. Create a project, that becomes your public changelog URL.
  3. Open the editor: title, version, tag (with custom color), Markdown content.
  4. Publish. Share the link anywhere. Who it's for Solo devs and small teams who ship fast and want their users to notice. If you're at BigCo with 50 engineers, use something heavier. If you're indie, it's built for you. What you get

  • Public changelog pages on a custom URL
  • 8 themes: Parchment, Midnight, Blueprint, Terminal, Void, Sandstone, Chalk, Slate
  • Markdown editor with live preview
  • Version numbers, color-coded tags, cover images
  • Custom logo and remove Ripple branding on Pro
  • Plans: Free, Starter ($9 / R$20), Pro ($19 / R$45), monthly, cancel anytime Why not the alternatives
  • GitHub releases? Users don't visit your repo.
  • Notion doc? Feels temporary, hard to share as "the" page.
  • Build your own? That's 2 weeks you'll never have. Ripple is the "done in 60 seconds" answer to "I should really have a changelog."

Tailwind UI's $2 million was five months of a commercial product, not a URL typo

Adam Wathan's August 2020 essay says Tailwind CSS had about 10 million installs and that Tailwind UI, then about five months old, was about to cross $2 million in revenue, figures he stated himself beside a slug that mis

ScreenshotOne took three years to $10k MRR and eight months to $20k

Dmytro Krasun says ScreenshotOne reached $10k monthly recurring revenue in September 2024, almost three years after launch, then $20k in June 2025, and that the second number changed how much more money still drove him.

AJ said Carrd was about $1.2M ARR and he spends time on the product, not campaigns

AJ told SaaS Club Carrd was about $100k MRR, about $1.2 million ARR, and that with two people he invests time in the builder rather than in finding ways to market it; he did not, in the sources fetched here, state $2M AR

WP Engine passed $100M ARR after Cohen made thirty people say they would pay $49

Jason Cohen says he did not start WP Engine until 30 people said they will pay $49 a month, 20 of them did, and in January 2018 he reported the company had passed $100 million ARR and closed $250 million from Silver Lake
