Prelune

About the startup

Prelune is a digital gift countdown calendar app for creating personal, shareable calendars that reveal one surprise at a time. Instead of sending one message, photo album, or gift all at once, Prelune lets you build anticipation over days or weeks. Create a calendar, fill each day with something meaningful, publish it, and share it with someone you care about. It works for birthdays, anniversaries, long-distance relationships, Christmas, trips, exams, weddings, family surprises, friendship gifts, and everyday “thinking of you” moments. Key features: - Create beautiful countdown calendars with unlockable days Add personal messages, images, links, poems, memories, clues, or small surprises - Choose colors, themes, door styles, and animations Share calendars with a simple link - Recipients can open one day at a time as the calendar progresses - Works for both classic advent-style calendars and non-Christmas occasions - Designed for emotional, personal gifts - not just reminders or countdown timers - Available on web and iOS - Free tier for simple calendars - Premium options for longer calendars and image-based calendars What makes Prelune different: Most countdown apps only tell you how many days are left. Most advent calendar apps are tied to Christmas. Prelune is built around the emotional part of waiting: curiosity, surprise, and connection. It turns a birthday, anniversary, trip, or long-distance period into a shared experience. The person receiving the calendar does not just see a date - they get something to look forward to every day. Prelune is also more flexible than traditional advent calendar tools. You can use it any time of year, for any occasion, and customize the experience to match the person you are creating it for. Real outcomes users can expect: - Make a simple gift feel more thoughtful and personal - Build anticipation before an important date - Stay connected with someone far away - Turn memories, photos, and messages into a daily reveal - Create a low-cost but meaningful digital gift - Make birthdays, anniversaries, trips, and Christmas feel more special - Give someone a reason to smile every day leading up to an event Prelune is for people who want to give something more personal than a card, more lasting than a text message, and more fun than a normal countdown.
