About the startup
Sessionplan.de is the free, browser-based agenda planner built for facilitators, trainers, and coaches — and the modern, privacy-friendly alternative to commercial session planning tools like SessionLab. Where other tools lock core features behind subscriptions or require cloud accounts, Sessionplan does the opposite: everything is free, forever. No registration. No cloud. No ads. All data stays locally in your browser. How it works Sessions are built as an interactive visual timeline. Facilitators add blocks — presentations, exercises, discussions, breaks, energizers, or custom types — and arrange them via drag and drop. Set a start time once, and Sessionplan automatically calculates the start time, end time, and duration of every block in the agenda. Reorder anything and all timestamps update instantly. Related blocks can be grouped, and parallel breakout sessions can be planned for different participant groups — making Sessionplan suitable for both simple meetings and complex multi-track workshop formats. Beyond planning A built-in live mode turns the agenda into a real-time facilitation view: it displays the current block, remaining time, and upcoming items during the session itself. Planning and delivery in one tool, no switching required. Reuse and sharing Frequently used blocks can be saved to a personal library and pulled into any future agenda in seconds. Recurring formats — weekly team meetings, sprint retrospectives, onboarding sessions — can be stored as reusable templates. Finished agendas are shared via a generated link or exported as a JSON file for backup and transfer between devices. The tool works fully offline after the first load. Who it's for Sessionplan is used by trainers, coaches, workshop facilitators, Scrum Masters, agile coaches, teachers, and educators — anyone who plans structured sessions and wants a tool that is fast to start, easy to use, and doesn't get in the way. It covers use cases from sprint planning and retrospectives to seminars, webinars, conferences, and even event run-of-show planning. Why Sessionplan Most session planning tools are either too simple (a spreadsheet) or too expensive (a SaaS subscription with features most facilitators never use). Sessionplan sits in the gap: a purpose-built, fully-featured agenda planner that is free, private, and works immediately — no onboarding, no paywall, no account required. Free forever. No hidden costs. No premium tier. Just a tool that works.
