SaveNeighbor

About the startup

SaveNeighbor is a community-based platform that facilitates local help for everyday needs. You can request pickups, deliveries, and general errands from professional couriers; or neighbors, friends, and other trusted helpers within your chosen network. Connect with full-time workers or regular people, and arrange their services based on their availability. Your favorite Doordash driver, connect and use them every time. Your teenage neighbor has free time, connect and have them run your errands to earn some extra cash. The use cases are all trust based. Eliminate delivery and service fees, and choose exactly who your money goes to. Take control back from third party apps and marketplace domination. Help your local restaurants and merchants keep more of their margins with direct orders. Delivery couriers can build a base of regular customers, and free themselves from the randomness of algorithm based selection. Set your schedule, plan your routes, guarantee your income. And still use the big apps when convenient. And restaurants love SaveNeighbor. It gives their customers a way to order direct, avoid platform fees and mark-ups, and arrange food delivery without needing to maintain a fleet of couriers. Pizzerias, cafés, markets and take-out spots lose around 30% of their sales to third party delivery apps, because there hasn't been a better way to make their products accessible. They traded margins for volume, but with SaveNeighbor everyone keeps more of what they earn. Its free to join, free to list and grow your helper network. We all need to save more in this economy, and SaveNeighbor networks make it possible without sacrificing the services we love.
