About the startup
Stand Chat helps founders and product teams learn what website visitors don't understand about their product. A transparent, named AI Stand-in answers questions 24/7, asks follow-ups, and preserves the questions, objections, comparisons, and customer language they can use to improve product-market fit. When a conversation becomes valuable, teams can watch it live, take over immediately, or—with the visitor's consent—join the same thread with full context. Stand also captures leads, runs AI-led Product Discovery interviews, and keeps searchable, exportable conversation history. Pro adds custom conversation signals and alerts for moments such as buying intent, product confusion, or competitor comparisons. Stand-ins can be grounded in website pages and documents and support multiple sites, knowledge bases, languages, browser and mobile notifications, and page-native chat entry points. Base is free forever with 15 full AI conversations per week and no credit card. Pro is $10/month; Business is $3,600/year.
