About the startup
Video calls shouldn't start with "Can you hear me?" or "Give me a second, my camera isn't working." GreenSignal is a free desktop app that helps you check your setup before you join a meeting. With a single click, it verifies your camera, microphone, speakers, room noise, and network connection, then gives you a simple verdict: you're ready, almost set, or there's one thing to fix. Features: Camera check with live preview Microphone test with playback Background noise detection Speaker test Network latency and connection checks GreenSignal is designed for people who spend their day in Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Webex, and other video meetings. It focuses on quick reassurance rather than overwhelming diagnostics. Privacy is built in. Camera and microphone access are only used while running a check. Audio and video are processed locally on your computer and are never stored or sent anywhere. No accounts, analytics, tracking, or telemetry. GreenSignal is completely free and available for macOS and Windows.
