About the startup

We’ve all been there: you need to perform a quick task, like formatting a messy JSON string, merging two PDF files, or converting a color code for a project. You search online, click on a "free tool" website, only to find yourself buried under cookie consent banners, a barrage of flashing ads, forced registration screens, or hidden paywalls. Toolali was born in April 2026 out of that exact frustration. We believed that simple, everyday digital problems shouldn’t require you to sacrifice your data, test your patience, or compromise your browser’s speed. We set out to build a cleaner, faster, and more respectful alternative—an independent, ad-free digital toolbox designed to just get the job done. Our Core Philosophy: Browser-First Privacy Most online tools require you to upload your files, passwords, or personal data to a remote server. We don't believe in that. At Toolali, the vast majority of our 100+ calculators, converters, and utilities run entirely client-side (locally inside your web browser). When you generate a secure password, compress a picture, or check your color contrast, the processing happens directly on your device. Your data never leaves your computer, and we never view, store, or sell it. For the rare tools that absolutely require a network lookup—such as a DNS check or certificate lookup—we execute the query anonymously and never collect your inputs. Built with Care, Shared Globally Toolali isn't run by a faceless corporation. It’s an independent, passion-driven project built, tested, and maintained by a small team dedicated to creating premium web software. We believe that accessibility should be a default, not an afterthought. That’s why Toolali is fully localized and translated by real humans into 10 different languages (including English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Arabic, Japanese, Hindi, and Indonesian) to serve users worldwide without relying on broken machine translations. Whether you are a developer looking for minimalist code formatters, a content creator adjusting images, a student converting units, or an expecting parent using our pregnancy calculators, we built Toolali to be your quiet, reliable, and fast helper. No trackers. No sign-ups. No clutter. Just fast, free, and secure online tools when you need them most.

Dmytro Krasun says ScreenshotOne reached $10k monthly recurring revenue in September 2024, almost three years after launch, then $20k in June 2025, and that the second number changed how much more money still drove him.

AJ said Carrd was about $1.2M ARR and he spends time on the product, not campaigns

AJ told SaaS Club Carrd was about $100k MRR, about $1.2 million ARR, and that with two people he invests time in the builder rather than in finding ways to market it; he did not, in the sources fetched here, state $2M AR
