About the startup
Kept is a private journal about the people closest to you. After you see someone, hold the mic and talk for a minute, or type. Kept transcribes it, works out who you were talking about, and files the details onto each person's profile. Nothing is saved until you confirm. Then it hands those details back when they matter: before a birthday, after a long gap, or when a plan you mentioned has come and gone. You walk into the next coffee already knowing what's going on. What makes it different: - Voice-first: 40 transcription languages plus auto-detect, so you can switch languages mid-sentence. - Private by design: no account, no feed, no sharing. The journal lives on your phone, with an optional Face ID / fingerprint lock. - A nudge, not a to-do list: no streaks, no guilt. - Works offline: recordings wait and transcribe once you're back online. - Yours to keep: export everything to a single CSV at any time. Pricing: 14-day free trial, no card needed. After the trial the journal never locks. Reading, typing notes and adding people stay free, with 5 voice notes a month. Kept Pro (monthly or yearly) unlocks unlimited voice notes and the birthday and catch-up reminders. Available on Android via Google Play. iPhone waitlist at keptjournal.com.
