About the startup

hotpath-rs is an easy-to-configure Rust performance profiling toolkit that shows exactly where your code spends time, burns CPU, and allocates memory. It helps you distinguish between functions that are slow because they wait on I/O and those that are CPU-intensive. Instrument functions, channels, futures, streams, and SQL queries to find bottlenecks and focus optimizations where they matter most. Get actionable insights into time, memory, and async data flow with minimal setup. You can use it to produce one-off performance (timing, memory or CPU) reports, monitor throughput, performance and max queue depth of instrumented channels, analyze SQL calls performance, or use the live TUI dashboard to monitor real-time performance and async data flow metrics with debug info.

Dmytro Krasun says ScreenshotOne reached $10k monthly recurring revenue in September 2024, almost three years after launch, then $20k in June 2025, and that the second number changed how much more money still drove him.

AJ said Carrd was about $1.2M ARR and he spends time on the product, not campaigns

AJ told SaaS Club Carrd was about $100k MRR, about $1.2 million ARR, and that with two people he invests time in the builder rather than in finding ways to market it; he did not, in the sources fetched here, state $2M AR

WP Engine passed $100M ARR after Cohen made thirty people say they would pay $49

Jason Cohen says he did not start WP Engine until 30 people said they will pay $49 a month, 20 of them did, and in January 2018 he reported the company had passed $100 million ARR and closed $250 million from Silver Lake
