About the startup
WHY. is a free diagnostic tool that scores any SaaS email, onboarding sequence, or changelog on the Decision Friction Model, a 7-point behavioral framework built from 59 real teardowns. Paste your email in. Get a score from 1 to 10, the named failure pattern (Feature-First Bias, Guest Language CTA, Filing Label Subject, and four others), and a rebuilt version, all in about 90 seconds. No card required. Most SaaS product update emails get opened but never clicked. WHY. shows exactly where the structure breaks, not the copy, the structure: what leads, what's buried, what the CTA asks the reader to do. Built by Alex Iliescu, founder of Strategic Flow, after auditing 59 public SaaS emails from companies like Semrush, HeyGen, Revolut, and ElevenLabs.
