About the startup
ReelDuo is a dual-camera recorder for iPhone and Android. It films your front and back cameras at the same time — and saves every take as a vertical 9:16 and a horizontal 16:9 video from that single recording. That second part is the whole point. Most creators shoot once, then crop, reframe and re-export for every platform they post to. ReelDuo frames both shapes live, while you record, so one tap gives you the TikTok/Reels/Shorts cut and the YouTube cut already synced and ready to post. No filming twice. No cropping in post. What you get - Both cameras at once — reactions, vlogs, tutorials and commentary that show what you're looking at and how you react to it, in the same frame. - Two shapes from one take — vertical 9:16 and horizontal 16:9 exported together, perfectly synced, with live crop guides so you can see both framings as you shoot. - 4K / 60 capture — native HEVC quality, up to 4K at 60fps on Pro. - Split or picture-in-picture — stack both cameras top and bottom, or float one as a PiP you can drag and resize. Custom PiP shapes and borders on Pro. - Pause and resume — stop and pick back up inside one continuous clip. No separate files to stitch together afterwards. - Smooth and level — built-in stabilization plus a live horizon level for straight, steady footage. - Full manual control — tap to focus, AE/AF lock, pinch zoom, exposure dial, rule-of-thirds grid, mirror and mic options. - Share anywhere — save to Photos or Files, or send straight to TikTok, Instagram and the rest through the share sheet. Pricing Free covers the real work: front + back multicam, both 9:16 and 16:9 from a single take, pause and resume, stabilized capture, manual focus, exposure and zoom, and saving to Photos or Files. Free exports carry a small ReelDuo mark. Pro is $2.99, paid once. It removes the watermark and unlocks 4K at 60fps, split-screen layout with camera swap, and custom PiP shapes and borders. One purchase, yours forever — there is no subscription, and the basics are never paywalled. Small and private by design Under 1 MB to download. No account, no sign-up, and no internet connection required. Recording and processing happen entirely on your device, and your footage never leaves it. Available now on the App Store and Google Play.
