About the startup
Product description QuoteLad is a construction paperwork management platform built for builders, contractors and tradespeople who want to spend less time on admin and more time on the job. Instead of creating snagging lists, quotes and invoices separately, QuoteLad connects them into one simple workflow. Start with the information you already have and turn it into professional, client-ready paperwork without repeatedly copying and reformatting the same information. Start with what you already have Job information rarely arrives in a perfectly organised format. You might have notes from a site visit, a WhatsApp message, a voice recording, photos, videos or documents. QuoteLad lets you bring that information together and use it to create a structured snagging list, quote or invoice. Create professional snagging lists Turn your job notes into an organised snagging list with individual issues structured by area and category. Review and edit the generated information, add customer and property details, and preview the finished report before sending it. Snagging reports can be downloaded as PDFs, sent by email or shared using a secure link. Turn snagging lists into quotes Once your snagging list is ready, you can use it as the starting point for a quote rather than recreating the job details manually. Add and edit items, adjust quantities and pricing, change descriptions, and customise the quote to match the work being carried out. QuoteLad can provide standard UK base prices as a starting point while keeping you in control of the final pricing. Choose from four quote styles: Minimal | Itemized | Classic | Bold Preview the finished quote before sending it to your customer. Turn quotes into invoices When a quote has been accepted and the work is ready to be invoiced, convert it into an invoice without starting again from scratch. Relevant customer, property and job information can carry across, reducing repetitive data entry and keeping the workflow connected. Keep your documents organised QuoteLad keeps your snagging lists, quotes and invoices together, with separate histories for each type of document. The dashboard also gives you a quick overview of your activity, including quotes created this month, accepted quote value and quotes awaiting payment. Built specifically around construction paperwork QuoteLad isn't trying to replace the way builders manage their actual jobs. It focuses on one of the less exciting but unavoidable parts of the work: turning job information into professional paperwork. The goal is simple: Capture → Snag → Quote → Invoice Spend less time rewriting notes, copying information between documents and formatting paperwork, and more time focusing on the work itself. Ideal for: builders, general contractors, tradespeople, property maintenance businesses, snagging professionals and small construction companies. Less paperwork. More time building.
