About the startup
BillCrafter is a browser-based invoice generator that lets anyone create and download a professional invoice without an account, a download, or a credit card. What it is BillCrafter is a free online tool for creating invoices, estimates, quotes, and receipts. It is built and operated by CCC STUDIO, a small independent software team based in the United States. Most invoicing products are accounting platforms first and invoice generators second: they ask for an account, a plan, and a setup walkthrough before producing a single document. BillCrafter inverts that order. The editor opens instantly at www.billcrafter.com with a blank document ready to fill in, and the first PDF export is free with no signup at all. How it works The editor is fully WYSIWYG. You click a field on the invoice itself, type into it, and watch subtotals and totals recalculate live — there is no separate form to fill out and no preview mode to toggle. What appears on screen is exactly what downloads, as a pixel-accurate PDF that stays sharp at any print size and carries no BillCrafter watermark or branding. Key capabilities Four document types — invoice, estimate, quote, and receipt, each relabeling its fields automatically when you switch 45 templates pre-configured for freelance, contractor, consulting, photography, cleaning, and small-business work Eight visual layouts — Modern, Minimal, Classic, Band, Ruled, Compact, Elegant, and Mono — plus twelve accent colors and logo upload for light-touch branding 25+ currencies, from USD, EUR, and GBP through INR, BDT, and the stablecoins USDT and USDC Flexible money fields — per-line tax rates with region-aware labels (VAT, GST, or sales tax), discounts and deposits as either a percentage or a flat amount, plus shipping E-signature — sign a document in the editor and send the signed PDF, no third-party service required Email delivery with a free account, with client replies routed to your own inbox Runs anywhere — desktop, phone, or tablet browser, with drafts kept locally until you choose to save them BillCrafter does not process payments. You add your own details — bank transfer, PayPal, Stripe, or crypto — so money moves through the rails you already use. Pricing Using the editor without an account gives you one free PDF export. A free account raises that to five exports per month and saves your business details, clients, and invoice history. A Pro plan is in private beta at $9.90/month, adding unlimited exports, PAID/UNPAID status stamps, share links with view tracking, recurring invoices, unlimited invoice emails, and priority support. Pro is not yet purchasable; early access can be requested from the site. Who it's for Freelancers, independent contractors, photographers, consultants, and small business owners who need to send a clean, professional document today — and don't want to adopt an accounting platform to do it.
