About the startup

Stackness is where developers and vibe coders show the tools, workflows and approaches they build with. Build a stack profile you share as one link, post the moves that make your setup yours, follow people whose taste you trust, and see which tools are actually rising and falling before you adopt one. What you can do - Build a stack in minutes. Tap the tools you use and the ones people run alongside them show up next to them. Arrange the result into subspaces, five tile sizes and drag-to-group clusters, right on your profile. - Post moves. A move is a usage technique, not a tool: the habits, rituals and workflow tricks that make a stack yours. A test-first loop with an agent, a review ritual, a keyboard chord you cannot work without. - Share one link. Your profile doubles as a public page, a link preview card, a QR code and an embeddable card for your GitHub README. Individual moves embed too. - Check the data before you commit. Every tool page in the 631-tool catalog carries popularity history imported from 14 public datasets, some of it reaching back to 2007: package registries, developer surveys, Q&A sites, Hacker News, Wikipedia pageviews. Every chart names its source and licence. - See what is moving now. Public trending pages ranked per category, plus a hub for each of the ten categories. No account needed for either. - Let your assistant drive. A hosted MCP server and a 137-endpoint REST API let Claude, Cursor or anything else that speaks MCP read and write your stack, post moves and read your feed. What makes it different Most stack pages are a logo wall. Stackness adds two things you will not find elsewhere. Moves mean the how travels with the what, so a stack is a setup you can copy rather than a list you can only admire. Imported history means a tool page tells you whether something is climbing or quietly on the way out, not just that one person uses it. Platform usage and imported data are always ded, because a download count and a surveyshare do not measure the same thing. Who it is for Developers comparing tools, indie hackers and vibe coders showing their setup, and anyone tired of guessing whether the tool in their feed this week has staying Free to join and use: the catalog, tool trenMCP and the API. An optional supporter tier at CHF 5 a month adds the Trend waves explorer, subscribers-only posts and a profile badge.

AJ said Carrd was about $1.2M ARR and he spends time on the product, not campaigns
