About the startup

Running a contracting business often means carrying the whole company in your head. You may have a team, but the questions, decisions and follow-up still come back to you. Files are scattered across phones, emails, shared drives and personal computers. Project information lives in messages and conversations. Suppliers need chasing, approvals go missing, invoices become overdue and small delays turn into bigger problems. You spend your day checking what happened, asking for updates and reminding people what needs to happen next. Traditional contractor software can help, but it often creates another job. Someone must enter the data, update every task and keep the system accurate. Your team is busy doing the actual work, so updates fall behind. You then have to chase everyone to maintain the software that was supposed to save you time. VORA is different. VORA works like the office behind your business. It follows the work across your documents, messages, emails, voice notes, drawings, photos, quotations and invoices. It connects the information, organizes it around the right job and helps the team understand what should happen next. Instead of showing you everything, VORA brings you what matters: - What needs your attention today - Which jobs are on track or falling behind - What is waiting for approval - What has been ordered, invoiced or paid - Where the team is blocked - Which opportunities need following up - How workload, costs and cash are changing - What VORA has already organized or prepared Each team member gets a simple view of their own work. The owner sees the company’s big picture and the decisions that genuinely need them. Project managers see priorities and coordination. Foremen see today’s site work and instructions. Bookkeepers see bills, invoices and job costs. Office managers see files, suppliers and follow-up. VORA does not try to replace people or quietly make important business commitments. It can identify a problem, explain the impact, recommend a response and prepare the next step. Purchases, payments, commitments and other important actions remain with the right person for approval. That is what makes VORA different from typical contractor software. It is not another system your team must constantly feed and manage. It is designed to understand the work already happening, reduce manual upkeep and help move the business forward. Over time, VORA also becomes the company’s shared memory. Supplier information, prices, standards, project lessons and proven ways of working no longer live only in the owner’s head. New team members can find the context they need, responsibilities can move to the right people and the business becomes less dependent on one person. VORA is built for owner-run trade and contracting businesses, particularly small teams of 2–15 people. A solo owner can start with VORA and bring the rest of the team in as the company grows. The goal is simple: fewer things to chase, fewer surprises, clearer decisions and a business that keeps moving without everything depending on the owner.
