Stooges

The short version is I got tired of copying prompts and responses between ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, etc., so I built a deliberation engine and then it took on a life of its own and became Stooges. So please forgive the theatrics. It is a deliberative chatbot where several frontier models from different vendors work on your prompt together. One stooge is tasked with presenting the result of the deliberation, while the others read the prompt and each other's responses and then disagree, refine, optimize, or add perspective. That happens through a predetermined cycle of deliberation, so the answer emerges from convergence rather than a judge or a vote. Divergence isn't discarded either, so when the models continue to disagree about priorities or conclusions, you can actually see that. The idea came from being tired of manually moving the same question and responses between all the LLM vendors. I initially just needed a way to tell the models and their roles apart, which led to names and icons, and ultimately the entire scheme. There is a 7-day free trial with the code TRYSTOOGES (no card required). After Google login, enter the code at the plan selection screen and choose between Open Mic, which gives you metered access to the house models, or BYOK, which is the full experience with no metering. Two keys is enough to get it going; three or four is where it gets interesting. The UI and website are both v1, and the UI is not optimized for small screens yet. There is a backstage chat inside Stooges for reporting bugs and issues. And for the record, Grok, Claude, Gemini, and ChatGPT all created their own avatars for this. I still owe Muse the opportunity. Security / data retention: BYOK keys are AES-256-GCM encrypted at rest with per-row keys, decrypted only for the moment of the provider call, never logged, and deleted immediately when you remove them. The app also has a popup explaining the security and data-retention model. Chat history is stored in your own Google Drive rather than retained by Stooges.
