About the startup

Kexo is a personal AI weight-loss coach for iPhone. It makes food logging simple, but logging is only the beginning. You can take a photo of your meal, describe it using your voice, type what you ate or scan a barcode. Kexo estimates the meal in seconds, and every result remains editable. Unlike traditional calorie trackers or apps that stop after showing you a calorie number, Kexo looks at your whole week. It connects food with sleep, workouts, gut health, hydration, weight, mood and progress. As it gets to know your habits, it finds patterns that may be slowing your progress and helps you decide what to change next. I originally started building Kexo for myself. After four months of regular exercise, my weight still wasn’t moving. Once I began logging honestly, I discovered that I was eating around 30% more than I thought. Using Kexo, I have since lost 17 kg. Several early testers have also lost significant weight, and some have reached their goal weight. Kexo is now available for iPhone on the App Store. A paid subscription is required.
