About the startup
linkring is a link-in-bio page with a price on it. US$5 a month or US$50 a year gets the whole thing: your page at linkring.to/yourname or on a domain you own, the editor, click stats and image hosting. There is no free tier and no trial. You can ask for a refund within 14 days of any charge instead. I chose one paid plan so that nobody's page has to carry ads or a logo to cover the people who pay nothing. It also lets me promise things I can keep. If you stop paying, your page stays up with no time limit, your domain keeps resolving, and only the editor locks. The page can be exported as JSON or as the static files whenever you like. The page itself is one HTML file under 10 KB, with no scripts on it. I run linkring alone from Ottawa and answer the support email myself.
