About the startup

Play Imposter Online is a free multiplayer social deduction word game that runs directly in your browser. Players join a room, receive secret words, give clues, debate suspicious answers, and vote to find the imposter with the different word. It works well for parties, remote game nights, classrooms, family gatherings, Discord calls, and Zoom hangouts. The site supports online rooms, room codes, mobile play, customizable settings, curated word categories, and local Pass & Play mode on one device. There is no app to install and no sign-up required, so groups can start a round quickly from almost anywhere with friends.
