The Combos

The daily math puzzle for people who think Wordle's too easy

Media & Entertainment

About the startup

The Combos is a daily arithmetic puzzle: start from a given number and use that day's three operators (e.g. +7, -6, ÷8) to transform it until it matches a sequence of target numbers, in order. The twist is the move count is exact — every board must be solved in precisely the fixed number of moves it's built for, no more and no fewer, so you can't just brute-force your way through. Each solve is scored 0-100 based on speed and move efficiency, with daily streak tracking (current and best) to keep you coming back. Past boards are kept in an archive with Easy/Medium/Hard difficulty ratings, and results are shareable as a Wordle-style emoji grid. New board every day at midnight UTC.
