About the startup
GeekBye is a real-time AI assistant for live conversations. It runs natively on macOS and Windows as a translucent overlay, transcribes both your microphone and the meeting's system audio, and generates answers and talking points while the conversation is still happening — not in a summary afterwards. Press Cmd+Enter on macOS or Ctrl+Enter on Windows, and it reads your screen and the conversation, then starts streaming a response within two to three seconds. What it does - Answers coding, behavioral, and technical questions in real time, using your screen and the live conversation as context. - Surfaces live suggestions as you talk: follow-up questions, recaps, and action items. - Handles algorithms, system design, debugging, and code optimization in any editor or online assessment platform. - Produces a meeting report afterwards with key points, action items, and a performance score across six communication metrics, each backed by transcript excerpts. - Supports 33 languages, with transcription and output languages set independently — useful if you are interviewing in a non-native language. - Stores transcripts in an encrypted database on your own device. Nothing is uploaded to cloud servers. - Excludes its overlay from screen shares and recordings using OS-level content protection, and never joins a call as a bot or participant. - Runs for unlimited meeting length on every plan, including the free one. Where it works Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Webex, Slack, and any browser-based platform. Requires macOS 14.0 Sonoma or later, or Windows. On macOS, the free BlackHole audio driver is needed to capture system audio. Pricing Starter is free and includes the core features, a limited number of AI responses, basic code generation, and English-only support. Pro is 74.99 dollars per month and adds unlimited responses, enhanced coding capabilities, and multi-language transcription and output. Pro Lifetime is a single payment of 750 dollars for all Pro features, with no recurring charge. Pro is a monthly subscription and can be cancelled at any time, with access continuing to the end of the billing period. Payments are non-refundable. Who it is for Candidates in technical interviews facing algorithm, system design, or debugging questions. Candidates in behavioral interviews who want structured STAR-format answers and talking points. Sales professionals handling objections and negotiation mid-call. Anyone in client or executive meetings who wants live recaps and action items. Students in oral exams, and non-native speakers who want to transcribe in one language and respond in another. Why GeekBye Most AI meeting tools summarise after the fact. GeekBye is built around the live moment: responses in under three seconds, screen-aware context, and local encrypted storage rather than a cloud pipeline. More than 600 users across 33 supported languages. geekbye.com
