About the startup

The problem: Serious market commentary has moved to YouTube, and it doesn't scale. Following twenty channels is dozens of hours a week, the analysis worth having is buried inside two-hour interviews, and there's no way to check whether the person confidently calling the top was right the last three times. How it works: TranscriptAgent reads every video on the channels you follow — the full transcript, not the description — and extracts each individual claim: who said it, what they said, about which asset, at which second of the tape. Every claim is attributed to a named speaker rather than to the channel, which is what makes everything else possible. What you get:

  • A daily brief of what mattered, who changed their view, and what to watch next — every line linked back to the speaker, the channel and the exact timestamp.
  • Today's research read: what changed since yesterday, each shift shown as an old read against a new read, so you can see the argument move rather than just its conclusion.
  • Condensed Watch: everything your channels published in the last 24 hours, cut into a handful of short montages — one per theme that actually came up. Tick the threads you care about and it builds a watch that fits the time you have: ten minutes over coffee, half an hour on the commute. Plays on your phone.
  • Key Moments: a two-hour interview cut to a plan you choose — a balanced recap, a single thread (just the gold, just the S&P 500), or pick the questions yourself. Typically ten to twenty minutes instead of two hours.
  • Consensus: take any claim from an interview and see how it lands against everyone else we index — who supports it, who challenges it, who took no clear position. On one Steve Hanke interview: 92% agreement that Japan's money supply is growing too slowly, 0% on "no repeat Asia crisis coming", measured across 24 matched speakers within ±30 days.
  • The Tape: a fast, swipeable scan of what's being said right now — one clip at a time, tagged by asset, with one tap to pull on anything worth more than a glance.
  • Tracked questions that update themselves whenever new commentary moves them.
  • A record for every speaker and channel: what they claimed, when, and how it aged.
  • A mining interview map — 353 companies across 49 countries, every figure quoted from the interview itself, dated and sourced.
  • And more: search across every transcript we hold, collect the moments that matter as you go, and turn what you collected into a report. Scale today: 250 channels tracked, 57,500+ videos analysed, 490,000+ claims extracted, 1,190 speakers indexed. Counted live, updated daily. Who it's for: people who already follow finance YouTube for research — retail investors, analysts, fund managers — who want the signal without the hours. Try it free for a week — full access, card required at signup, cancel any time before it converts. There's no free tier afterwards; from $9.99/month once the week ends. A product that insists every claim names its source shouldn't hide its own. I'm Laurent Lefevere, a former commodities trader (VP) at Bank of America Merrill Lynch — real name, real face, checkable: linkedin.com/in/laurentlefevere, and the full story at transcriptagent.ai/about. Evidence over narrative, track record over confidence.
