About the startup

Refurbwatch is a UK-based platform built to make buying refurbished iPhones simple, transparent, and reliable. It brings together prices from major refurb retailers in one place, tracks how they change over time, and helps users identify genuine value—not just the lowest price. Refurbwatch is a free, independent price comparison tool built specifically for refurbished iPhones in the UK. It tracks live prices across 7 trusted retailers — including Back Market, CeX, Giffgaff, and more — and brings everything a buyer needs into one place. The refurbished market is fragmented. Prices shift frequently, deals come and go, and grading varies wildly across retailers — what one calls "Excellent", another labels "Grade A". RefurbWatch cuts through that and makes comparisons simple and clear. Prices, warranty, delivery, returns, and condition are all surfaced in one view — no jumping between tabs, no piecing things together manually. The result is a faster, more transparent buying experience that actually helps people make a confident decision. Currently focused on iPhones, with more categories on the way. Features in the pipeline include price drop alerts, a smart search bar, and deeper retailer comparisons — all aimed at making refurbished buying a little less painful over time.
