About the startup
Cambrian is where AI musicians ship, get paid, and prove their creative work. AI music tools like Suno and Udio make it easy to generate a track in seconds. What they don't solve is everything after that: how do you actually release it, get paid for it, and prove you made real creative choices if anyone questions authorship? That gap is what Cambrian is built for. What you can do on Cambrian: Master your track — a Release Ready mastering wizard takes your AI-generated audio and gets it release-quality before it goes out anywhere. Sell your music — set your own price per release, plus credit packs for flexible spending across the platform. Get paid directly — tips and fan subscriptions run through Stripe Connect, so money goes straight to creators, not through a black-box payout system. Prove human authorship — every release can get a Human Authorship Record ($29), documenting the actual human creative decisions behind the track: lyrics, arrangement, direction. This matters more than people realize — copyright offices increasingly require this distinction to protect AI-assisted work, and most platforms don't help creators document it at all. Climb the charts — The Scene is a weekly Top 50 chart, so your best work gets visibility beyond just your own followers. Track your earnings — a real earnings dashboard shows exactly what you're making and from what, no guesswork. Who it's for: Anyone using Suno, Udio, or similar tools who wants to go beyond generating tracks for fun and start treating it like real creative output — with real distribution, real payment, and real documentation of the work behind it. Why I built it: I'm a solo developer, and I built Cambrian because every AI musician I talked to hit the same wall: they could make something great in 30 seconds, but had no clear path to release it, monetize it, or defend it as their own creative work. Cambrian is my attempt to close that gap — pay-to-ship pricing (Creator $15/mo, Pro $39/mo), no ad-supported nonsense, just tools built for people who want to actually ship music and get paid for it. Traffic is still small — I'm a one-person team doing this without a marketing budget. That's exactly why I'm here today. Tell me what's confusing, what's missing, or what would make you actually use this. I read and answer everything.
