About the startup
Melodank turns personal memories into meaningful German or English songs that can be shared as unique digital gifts. Users simply tell a story about someone special, including their name, shared memories, the occasion, and a personal message. Melodank then creates complete song lyrics in the selected language based on that story. Before any music is generated, users can read and edit the full lyrics to correct names, relationships, personal details, or wording. Once the lyrics are approved, Melodank creates two different musical versions, each with a 60-second preview. Users can listen to both versions, choose their favorite, and unlock the complete song with one Song Credit. The finished song includes a cover image, a personal message, the approved lyrics, and a private gift page that can be shared without requiring the recipient to create an account. Users can also manage, change, or deactivate their private gift link at any time. Melodank is designed for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, thank-you gifts, and other meaningful occasions. Instead of giving a generic card or ordinary present, users can give someone a song built around their own story—making the gift personal, emotional, and truly one of a kind.
