About the startup
Rekkrd — AI-native collection management for vinyl and the gear that plays it Keep Discogs. Add Rekkrd. Discogs is the best database vinyl has ever had. It is not a great app for actually living with a collection — logging what you spun last night, tracking what your rig is worth, or figuring out why your chain sounds thin. Rekkrd is the layer on top: it imports your Discogs collection in one click, pulls pricing from both Discogs and eBay, and exports back out whenever you want. Nothing gets locked in. The free tier holds 2,000 albums. Most collectors will never hit it. What you get Your records — Scan a label with your phone and AI fills in the release. Bulk-import a CSV. Grade condition per copy and watch your collection's real value move with the market. Filter, sort, and actually find things. Your gear — Stakkd is a full catalog for turntables, carts, phono stages, amps, and speakers, plus a visual signal chain builder. AI reviews the chain, flags gaps and mismatches, and tells you where the weak link is. No other collection app does this. Your listening — A real listening journal and a Listening Room mode: build a session, drag to reorder, see the art full-screen, log what you played. Playlist Studio builds sessions by mood when you don't know what you want on. Your room — Room Planner and Shelf Organizer for people whose collection has outgrown one wall. Collection Analytics for anyone who wants to know what they've actually been buying. Wantlist that works — Add a record, get price data automatically, get told when it moves. Also free, no account needed: Spennd (spennd.rekkrd.com) — paste a record, get a market price. Built it because everyone kept asking "what's this worth." Pricing Collector — free. 2,000 albums, 10 AI scans/month, 3 gear items. No card. Curator — $4.99/mo. Bulk import/export, CSV + PDF, unlimited collection. Enthusiast — $9.99/mo. Everything: Room Planner, Shelf Organizer, Analytics, Listening Room, AI chain analysis. Live on iOS and the web. Why I built it I'm a farmer and an AI engineer who collects records. I wanted a tool that treated the gear as seriously as the records, and that felt like an app built in the last decade. Nothing did both, so I built it. It's one person, shipping constantly, and I answer my own support email. Feedback is the entire reason I'm posting here — especially from people who'll tell me what's broken.
