About the startup
Stop opening every box to find one thing. StowQR turns your storage totes into a searchable inventory. Stick a QR label on a tote, scan it with your phone, and see exactly what's inside. Or type "tent" and StowQR tells you which tote it's in and which shelf that tote sits on. How it works Snap a photo. Open a tote and take one picture. Itemify finds every item in it, names each one, and crops a thumbnail for each. You check the list before anything saves. Print a label. Every tote gets its own QR code. Pick the colors, the dot style, and an emoji, then print on plain paper or Avery sheets from any printer. No special stickers to buy. Scan or search. Point your camera at a label to see what's inside. Search across every tote when you don't know where to start. What's inside Itemify: one photo catalogs a whole tote QR labels you design and print at home Places to group totes by room: Garage, Attic, Basement Search across every item in every tote Pin the totes you open most CSV export of your whole inventory Now on Android StowQR runs on iPhone, iPad, and now Android. The web app is in open beta at stowqr.com/app. One account, one inventory, synced across all of them. Why I built it I built StowQR because I got tired of opening every box in the garage just to find one thing. Winter coats, the camping stove, the Christmas lights. They all went into totes and vanished. Now I scan a label and know. I was tired of climbing a ladder to retrieve three totes to look for a tent. This app allows me to find what I'm looking for in an instant! — trekertrev, App Store review Pricing 3-day free trial, then $29.99/year or $99.99 once for lifetime.
